There is, thankfully, points of commonality on which Ahmadinejad and the Bush can build. According to yesterday's San Francisco Chronicle article:

Quote:

The 18-page letter did not offer any concrete proposals for dealing with the nuclear dispute but suggested that the United States give up its liberal, democratic, secular system and turn more toward religion.

Out of four bullet points (abandon liberal, abandon democratic, abandon secular, more religion) I think they already agree on the latter two. If they could just come to terms on which religion (perhaps they can accept Mormonism as a satisfactory compromise making Orrin Hatch ruler of the world) world peace would certainly result.

And then everybody can gang up and stone me.

I thought I posted this here, but I guess I did it somewhere else...
If we go into Iran, with what troops are we going to do it with? That's what I worry about. I worry about a draft.
:(

No no no! Scientology all the way! We need a dead author and space aliens to rule the world.

Just go into the office and start making out with Ralphie.

If they do institue a draft they better take women. Of course I hope there is no draft, and the way the current stop losses and threats to withhold VA benefits if soliders don't re-enlist at the end of their tour I don't think there will be.

If there is a draft, I will gladly harbor draft dodgers in my house.

If the only solutions the human race come come up with to solve its disagreements is to nuke the hell out of each other, there really is little hope for any of us.

Just what you need, more pussies hanging out in your home. :p ;)

Before I get crucified and inundated with negative mojo, it was a JOKE people! Come on, anyone who knows NA knows her affinity for felines and with a setup like she gave, how could I not come in on the follow-through? For the record, I do not think draft dodgers are inherently pussies, un-American, or cat fanciers.

I actually was serious when I posted about Iran perhaps preparing to take action. Historically, Islamic radicals make an overture for their enemies to convert as a last step prior to military action.
