I totally disagree with this. I've heard too many people make comments before like "Oh, I wouldn't vote for him because he is ugly". These are not the people I want choosing who they feel would be the best leader. I would prefer voters who are at least somewhat informed.

I think you underestimate the morons. The last thing we need is a good looking idiot running our government. How many voted for GW, simply because he lives on a ranch and is a good ol' boy? More than you might think.

But, look how well it's working out. Oh come on, you know you'd like to sit down and have a beer with him

So let me get this straight - you find Bush to be good looking?

Personally? No, though I knew those that do.

Considering the amount of airtime certain politicians get, maybe it's not such a bad thing that we the public require them to be attractive

scaeagles 05-24-2006 01:44 PM

Oh....I can think of a WHOLE LOT of them that get a lot of face time that....uh....wouldn't fit the qualification.

Something tells me Arlen Specter never crossed your mind in composing that post.

Really and with all the millions of Americans out there, I find it hard to believe that we can't find someone both qualified and attractive - I think the beautiful people might have grounds for a class action suit or something...

Shall we start a listing? Ted Kennedy....Hillary....the chick from GA who beat up the congressional policeman (drawing a blank on her name).....I think the list might get pretty long.....

Don't be starting on Teddy now. Teddy was a babe in the day.
