I think he actually said,."I have to go Pee" and Marvin told him to go ahead and he zipped out of sight like a speeding bullet, then came back and said, "I think I'm done, NO" and zipped off again. A very funny way to introduce the charcter. And, it is really the only bathroom type humor I saw, and it was so fast and quick, it was really a great way to introduce Hammie.

Try it, you will like it. If you like animation and non stop fun humor, you will love it. I have talked to some people I know who were dead set against it, I more or less insisted on them seeing it, and they ended up laughing their butts of. They loved it. I am not saying it's the greatest movie ever, just that in this current crop of crap that keeps being thrown at us, this one it better than all the others put together.

I really enjoyed it, but would have enjoyed it more if we weren't with the people we were with.

I will definatly be buying this when it comes out on dvd. I will also not be seeing anymore movies with that family.

We had a great time. Being a huge fan of the strip I've been waiting very impatiently for this movie to appear.. but you know what?

NOTHING to do with the strip. Did I care? Not a whit. (Well it wasnt based on the strip, but it has stuff in common, but you didnt need the strip)

We loved it. They changed my beloved Sammy to Hammy, and he was a speed junkie, not a total bonehead, but man... he was fuuuuuunnnny.
Shatner as a possum???

I missed the end too, but thats okay. We'll own it as well. They'd my RJ and my Verne.
See it, I think you'll be glad you did.

The movie is actually a "prequel" to the strip showing how Verne and RJ met. And now the comic strip has renamed Sammy to Hammie. Shatner was great as the daddy Possum with his Play Dead routine channeled through Capt. Kirk. It was hilarious. I can hardly wait for the DVD.

Ok, now you are all making me regret sending the kids to this movie without me! All the adults wanted to see Da Vinci Code so we sent the kids to Over the Hedge.
I was going to wait until it came out on video but now....

I would highly reccomend seeing it with other people in the theater on the big screen. It is worth it.

Today while taking a trip up to Unvirsal Hollywood for something to do for a couple of hours, I found a figure set from the movie, These are not action figures, but smaller, about 3 to 4 inches in height, made of plastic and are mostly non poseable display figures. The set of 4 includes Vern, R.J, the skunk and Hammie. I got onw as it's the only thing I have seen so far from the movie. I wish they would do some plush.
