Re-built Space Mountain has got to rank up there, as do the holiday overlays on iasw and the Mansion. Haven't been on the "new" Pirates yet (not until July 15th, probably) so I can't judge that.

I'm not a local and I didn't go to DL until 2001, but I have to go with Space Mountain and the hopes that it leads to a revitalised Tomorrowland. I rode it once prior to the refurb and it is sooooo much better now, especially with rainbow glasses.

Refurbishment of the Tiki Room. Though that shouldn't really qualify as a "change." If they restored the full show . . .

Removing the Rocket Rods.

Removing the Hatbox Ghost from the attic of the Mansion.

People were dying of heart attacks in there, ya know !

If it's restoration as a "change," then Small World wins hands-down.

Otherwise, if it's new changes, then - tellingly - I think a couple of the circa 50th birthday changes are the best ... namely, floating Leota and Giacchino Space Mountain music.

Ironically, I think a couple of the late 50th-year changes are the worst - - specifically, the Bride in Haunted Mansion and a large chunk of the movie Pirates overlay.

I'm with ISM, the restoration of Small World.
Though I love the restoration of Tiki Room too.

New... The floating Leota..
and Fantasmic.

Being a cast member in the early 90's, I have a soft spot for Bengal. I was there as it was being built, was near it daily, tried the food before it opened, and worked in it the first week.
But thats all personal stuff.

I'd have to say Buzz Astro Balsters. It took over an empty building.

But I did like the Rocket Rods a little, but Buzz is better (more thrilling, I'm sure I'd be board with RR by now if it would have lasted).

And Circle Vission, while interesting, got old fast and made me dizzy.

I've been trying to come up with one for this thread, but I need to see a complete list first to decide. Hee hee. :)
