I'll drive to The Block or to DTD.

ETA - I just noticed it's a 2.5 hr movie! Dude.

I was originaly pushing for the Spectrum because I don't really have a desire to sit in traffic, but a 9:50 showing at DTD wouldn't be bad. I suspect we'll have to line up for decent seats about 6:30 or 7 though, which means traffic. /sigh

I'm seeing it in 4 hours.

I was tring to avoid traffic as well. There's no WAY I'm going to the Spincter in the early evening. It's easier to get to the Westside!

However, since I need to take the bus and then BART up to the city to see it, even though I get into the screening room for free I will still end up paying $12.25.

It takes about a half hour to get from Anaheim to the Spectrum on a Friday night while it takes an hour and a half to get from the Spectrum to Anaheim.

If everyone else wants to sit in traffic then thats ok. I don't have to see it with this group, I just thought it would be fun. If people want to get there early to line up and have no problem with some of us getting there later (after traffic) then that would be cool, but I'm not expecting that.

Hence my original suggestion of going to the 10ish show.

But there is going to be a line, probably a big line starting around 6 or 7. So if people want to get there early and save spots that would so rock.

Do any theaters in OC do assigned seating like the Arclight?
