He got tired of his job, so he quit to travel. He said it was cheeper to travel than to stay at home paying rent, auto insurance, and parking tickets (he gets a lot). He posted his trip on his website, then someone said he should dance in them. The first version was born.

Then Spride (a gum company) asked him to do it for them, and paid his way. The second one video was born.

BTW, he has yet to go dance in Canada. He lives in Seatle. What's up with that? He could drive there one afternoon for cryinoutloud!

I'm waiting to hear the news story about the kid who tried to impersonate Matt at that location and died and now his parents are suing Matt...
