Could you maybe go into a purely selfish line of work for a real change?

Ah, nevermind. Who am I talking about?

Keep in mind we have many needy people here in Southern California.

Yeah, but maybe he'll move back like he says. I know lots of people here would love for him to.

I thought about going into some for profit job again and becoming rich and turning into this huge corporate monster that occasionally beds David Geffen... but then I thought would I be happy? Most likely not.

It kinda stinks being 35 and not knowing what you want to do when you grow up.

I'm ready to move back. I hate snow. I need to be near cool friends, family and the park.

Ah.... what a life you have.....
my life used to be that every time I answered the phone I said:
"Good afternoon, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community services of Colorado, how may I help you?"

Plenty of the young men that worked in that office found that to be a great jumping off point to what are now full fledged careers in various situations.
There's always a reason. you know this.
Use it, work it, make the connections!
Congrats.

Just do what makes you happy. Congratulations on the new gig.

It's amazing how two little words ("I" and "quit") can change your mood from crabby to happy in mere seconds.
:D

I'm hoping this is a good move for me. I feel it already.
:)

I know you've been considering this for a while and I'm happy you made the move. Who knows what's around the next corner, but I hope for many good thing - especially if they are in So Cal. ;)

Also a wonderful mood elevator is saying (or posting in the LoT) the five words "I'm moving back to California!"

I thought you were going to say "positions."

Hey GC, come back before the 19th and you & Ism can come see my show!

And then whack each other with your murses.
