Oh, fine. I'll post a picture of something Tom CAN see.

Cake for Michigan (I'll only be revealing details about the MI wedding, since I want to surprise those coming to the CA party)

Flavors to include:
-Chocolate sour cream with white chocolate buttercream
-Vanilla bean pound cake with blackberry preserves and lemon curd
-Almond pound cake with espresso buttercream
-Banana cake with buttercream-cheese

I like it - and now I'm hungry for cake. Sounds yummers.

Wedding tip, if you put a Ken and Barbie on the top of your cake, they're much larger than regular wedding top people so you have to make a much bigger cake.

Hey, you have the first piece of the puzzle right there.

(Not that I'm implying that a wedding is like a puzzle or anything to that extent, of course!)

Here's hoping that everything goes well...and if not...that you can laugh at the mishaps. ;)

Mmmmmmm...cake...

But, I have a question...what is this lemon curd that you speak of? Is it anything like cheese curd? Except that it tastes like lemon?

Or, is it more like what Little Miss Muffet was eating in the rhyme with that spider?

LSPoorEeyorick 10-06-2006 05:24 PM

OMG. Lemon curd is a creamy lemon sauce made with eggs, butter, sugar, and lemon. It was referred to in my livejournal by a wise woman as "the lemon part of a well-made lemon merangue pie." SO YUMMY.

And speaking of pie... damn, G, did you have to post that picture of the pie dress? Now I want pie.

Mmmmm - Wedding Pie
