Not to derail....but here's the derail.

We also took our visitng Flat Stanly to DL. We found Big Foot's foot print near the MH and place him in it for a photo opp. I wrote on the picture "I wonder if that is why Flat Stanly is really flat". Goodness that was a long time ago, it was on the day that Tomorrowland was rededicated. So we sent back cool goodies that we received in the park that day along with Flat Stanley.

We had fun with it, we were on vacation when we received him and already had plans to go to the beach, DL, Vegas, etc. He sent postcards from every place we visited and had quite a story to tell when he got back to school. My cousin had the best Flat Stanley report!

Honestly though, I think you should have introduced Flat Stanley to Russell, he would have shown him the town.

My eye saw all the "u"s in this post and read the first sentence as, "Well that sucks - did you try DCA, I believe the princesses also hang out in the urination building."

Hee! Flat Stanley! I once did a book report on Flat Stanley in the 4th grade, so I have some fond memories of that book.

I'm so sorry to hear about everything, Heidi. :(

I might be confusing Disneyland and Disney World (seeing as how I've never been to either, and would really, REALLY like to go someday before I die...LOL), but I always thought that it was supposed to be the happiest place on earth.

Did Surly from Duff Gardens come and spike everyone's drinks so that all the Disney characters appeared hung over or what?

we had a dreadful time trying to get character photos, as we had no little kid to shove at the characters.

Having said that, Kudos goes to Jafar, Donald Duck, Captain Hook & Smee at WDW and Maleficent, Gepetto, Pinocchio & Mary Poppins at DL who went out of their way to make us smile & gave us just as much time as the kiddies got. :D
