It's prolly far too late, but it's worth trying to get a reservation at Peter Lugar's in Brooklyn. Best steak house in the country. I eat there at least once a year.

Typically though, ressies need to be made 3 mos in advance. If you are able to get them, I can tell you more about the experience.

Oh, I see MBC already recommended it. Well, I second it. It is my personal fave. You cannot be dissappointed.

Oh and do yourself a favor, don't ask to see a menu...there aren't any.

Since it's your first time, I suggest focusing on walking through neighborhoods (Greenwich Village, Lincoln Center/West Side, 5th Ave./East Side, Central Park) and just grabbing a bite here and there.

It's probably too late, but next time I'm in New York, I'd like to see one of the late night tapings (Letterman/Conan/Stewart/Colbert).

That really depends on the weather. We're getting a wicked huge storm tonight and tomorrow. It might be too cold and icky to enjoy a walk through neighborhoods.

FYI, NY Comic-Con is going on the same weekend you're there.

Oooh! I think the Goats people are going to be there. Oh dear - perusing the guest list - don't tell the spousal unit that Mick Foley will be at comic-con.
