Yeah, I was wondering if they asked your permission. Oh those French!

Oh yeah, definitely want that one.

I think I mentioned elsewhere that there's a new Nostalgia 77 album coming out. There are a couple preview tracks on MySpace. If anyone hasn't heard Nostalgia, I highly recommend it. I'm itching for this one to come out.

What I need is someone to recommend music to me based on what I like, and Amazon isn't fitting the bill. And neither is Pandora, because what I like is too weird.

KCRW has brought Una to my attention - sound a lot like Portishead, so they fill that void quite nicely for me. I've been amused by Los Abandoned, their Van Nuys (es Very Nice) song cracks me up.

I keep listening to Stan Ridgway - "Songs That Made This Country Great"

I completely forgot Justice is on my list. Justice is XAVIER de ROSNAY & GASPARD AUGE who are managed by the same person who manages Daft Punk. They sound an awful lot like Daft Punk and, if you look at their Wiki pics

This is Justice:

This is Daft Punk:

Anyways, I'm pretty convinced they are the same people, but I could be wrong. Daft Punk is supposedly Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

The dangerous thing about even THINKING about this is that, I just remember more.

Grinderman - (Nick Cave's new project) and the Live Nick Cave double album.

One day I will see him live. Really, I will.

The new Shiina Ringo CD and DVD arrived from amazon.co.jp today.

I am a happy boy.

Not Afraid 02-27-2007 08:46 PM

Damn you Jesse.

So, when is SHE touring?

mousepod 02-27-2007 08:48 PM

She hasn't ever toured outside of Japan. I'll let you know when they announce the next Japanese tour, as Heather has given me permission to buy tickets.

By the way... you shouldn't buy the new 2CD Nick Cave live record. You need the 2CD+2DVD live record.
