Oooh. Imagine if they picked 'Give it Away' instead. Kids rocking out to "What I've got you've got to get it put it in you, what I've got you've got to get it put it in you..." at 26.7 miles per hour... Oy vey!
:D

Me too. Space Mountain in Paris with effects and such was cool. I'll ride this with an open mind, and then post about how horrid it is. ;)

After seeing the video of the "effects", I don't suspect any music could save it. Much like Rocket Rods, a few neon tubes from Spencers hardly makes for an amazing, thrilling theme park attraction. The 18 year old cover of a 34 year old song is just the flavorless icing on the bland cake.

Is it May yet?

"...drinkin' my juice of love, chug-a-lug me!" A very Disney band indeed! Do you think they will ride it wearing their socks for the premiere blast-off?

Could be worse GD, the outside could still be colored like cat poo.

Actually, if it were done right - kinda retro with a bit of neon, I think it would be cool.

But, the projected "rock fans" really don't excite me, because I've seen video of it as tested at Grad Nights last year. Lame-o.

innerSpaceman 12-28-2006 04:35 PM

lashbear, please tell me you are going to miss this travesty and arrive in time for Space Mountain's triumphant return. I can ride out this strorm of crap .... but I will be heartbroken if you don't get to experience our new, better-than-ever Space Mountain.

As for a fare-thee-well swanking .... well, what time is the Park open till on the 2nd? (The new overlay premiers the 3rd)
