I don't make resolutions but I have some aspirations for 07:

Sucessfully complete every semester (winter, spring, summer and fall). They will be hard. I will have next to no free time but the payoff will be devine.

Find peace that I will not graduate in Dec of 07 like I had planned but in Spring of 08 instead. It's only 3 more months.

Become better with my finances - I have the books, I know what I should do, I just need to do it. I would like to pay off my credit cards. Any help with a budget spreadsheet is welcome. The ones I make are always lacking.

Spend less time online and more time doing other stuff.

Just curious if that was a mistype or if your school actually has four semesters a year?

I know the schools out here have the regular spring and fall semesters, but they also offer shorter and more intense summer and winter "sessions."

I'd like 2007 to be more rewarding - well, not that this isn't rewarding at present - I'd just like the payoff to be more evident. I'd like a feeling that I'm accomplishing something other than earning yet another expensive piece of paper suitable for framing.

I want just a few steps into the future at least outlined. Is that so much to ask?

I want to feel less chaos and more design.

And more answers, fewer open-ended questions.

I want to successfully do what I have to do to earn that job - whether it's school work, becoming a size 2, whatever. I want to find the strength and commitment to see it through and do whatever is needed.

I'd like to be a little happier with me.

Oooh I forgot! 2007 brings my first tattoo and the changing of my middle name. I really wanted to get those things done before the years end, so that 2007 will be as uneventful as possible, but time is lacking.

I aspire to stay alive. Beyond that, I'm too tired to care at the moment.

I hope that the opening moments of the new year find me drunk!

I second that (for both of us)!

I hope to organize all my photos and memorabilia that has filled at least 6 shoeboxes over the past 3 years. Maybe create scrapbooks or digital albums for all of my trips, social events and whatnot.

Travel, don't know the latest destination. Will be hard to top 2006: Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Vegas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky (and all states in between), Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Phew, most of that was just from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Keep in better contact with my friends, brothers and godchildren. Game night! Movie night! Whatever night! Try to have more social, hang out time with the people I enjoy to socialize and hang out with.

Drop the "Debbie Downer" :( attitude. I think I complained too much in 2006, so I will be all butterflies, rainbows and cupcakes for 2007! :) mmm...cupcakes!

Cook more homemade meals for my sweetie! Maybe even branch out to friends with dinner parties, but let's start small. :)

Read a LoT more!

I hadn't really thought about it.

I think I've been a 'downer' a lot and will work on that.

Appreciate my time more. {quiet wasting so much time on those Suduko puzzles...they really take a lot of time at my skill level}.

Appreciate my peoples more.

Work is limiting our time off thus limiting long trip plans. Quite depressing to us. I am going to work on not just talking about weekend getaways but getting away.

Getting back on my workout routine and making the kids do it with me. Everyone has lost weight but now we need to be healthy and strong.

Help direct the kids more into the direction they 'want' to go.

Clean out my closets & garage. Really big job there.

I hope to celebrate Columbus Day again in 2007

Well, I apparently posted no resolutions last year so in that regard, I've kept to all of them. :)

Actually, my resolution was simply to get busier gig-wise. For the last six months or so, I've been averaging 15 gigs a month and it has been great, even though I grumble on occasion, due to lack of sleep.

This year my resolution is to write a lot more and try to get closer to my goal, which is to support myself by writing during the day and playing music at night. I don't know that I will acheive it this year but I would happy just to get a few steps closer.
