Turning Vietnamese, she's really turning Vietnamese, I really think so!

(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

I'm pretty happy with me. (In fact, I tend to be more attracted to larger women.) I just want to be as healthy as I can be; it's more life-extension (or, really, later-life quality-of-life extension) I'm after.

The best way I lose weight is by tracking everything I'm ingesting. I'm a visual person. Looking at a spreadsheet of what I've eaten over the last several days is the best way for me to stay conscious (and concientious) of my choices and portions. And if I don't exercise, sayonara weight loss.

I've been doing Weight Watchers for over six months. I've lost 20 and still a ways to go but I can already tell the difference. I'm sick this week but I really need to get back on the program, work out, and eat better. Especially after all this darned holiday food!

As soon as the fitness center opens here at work (which should be Monday) I am going to work out at lunch.

My main issue is lack of exercise and I hate it- so back into the gym I go.

My thyroid meds got adjusted and, what do you know, I'm starting to lose weight! (I ALWAYS thought it had something to do with my meds.) I've only lost 12 lbs, which, for my body, is nothing. But, if I continue to exercise a bit (dog walking helps a LOT) and tweak my diet toward less carbs and fat and more fruits, veggies and whole grains I should see some results.

But, I don't want to be really thin again. I have a thin frame and have been pretty thin most of my life. I like my body with some meat and curves. I'd be happy with another 20-30 pounds tops.

The best to all of you on you healthy habits! It is hard and my hat is off to you all.

I MUST get some of those healthy habits going too. . . any day now. <----- directed at myself

Soccer on Wednesday, jogging last night. If I get myself to jog again tonight, I can safely say I've gotten back into my routine.

I've still gotta work on the "eat less" half of my patented "Eat Less, Move More" weight loss regimen. Yesterday I had a bagel and cream cheese as a post dinner "snack".

Well, yesterday, a bad day for the diet. A delightful and delictable lunch with Not Afraid at La Creperie Cafe in Long Beach. Worth every single solitary calorie.

Nice to see Lisa and get a quick drive by tour of some of my favorite architecture.
