According to weather.com, we are supposed to be around 36 at midnight and drop as low as 30 before sunrise. Sure feels possible.

Meanwhile, it supposed to be in the 50's in unseasonably warm NY tomorrow.

Thank god I have some spicy Thai potato chips to get me through this.

Snowed in Fontana today. That's not too far from DL. I wonder if the California Speedway survived.

Well, here in Garden Grove, just blocks away from DL, we had a hard freeze last night. Got down to about 29*! The sprinklers went off at about 4AM and the water froze solid on everything! The birdbath became a miniture skating rink for the birds! I saw one using a little zambonie, getting ready for the big game!!! :eek:

It's 9:20 PM in the San Fernando Valley and there is ice (real frozen sprinkler water type ice, not frost) on the sidewalk in front of my building.

I enjoyed crunching it.

That's why the zambonie wasn't working right last night!

It is currently 38 outside. By 6am it will be 28. I am really glad I have tomorrow off, because at the time I'd be leaving for work it would only be 32. I'm kinda tempted to get in my car then to see what the temperature is then.

Even though it will only last a few days it is nice to feel actual cold weather this last week. Still doesn't feel like an actual winter but it's the closest I've had in about 10 years (to someone who loves the PNW climate a decade of Hawaii and Califonria living is depressing).
