I've definitely seen a good portion of the shorts from the two, but as standalone pieces, not in their original anthology format. Might have to bump them in the queue, or have CP check the library.

Well, congrats to the mousepod for a very TIGHT show. The long running time was undaunting because the show was economical, packed with stuff, never stopped moving along, and did I mention tight?

If that was live, than that's how live should be done.

That said, though I'd like to screen about three of the shorts contained within the two films, I am not inspired to see either in its entirety again.

I think I found the mousepod about Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros more entertaining than Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros.

Thanks, iSm.

I knew I had a lot to cover in this show, and I spent a little bit of extra time beforehand preparing show notes to keep the tangents to a minimum.

Your comments here are invaluable - they keep me on my toes.

BTW, I posted a couple of video clips on mousepod.com that I captured from the laserdisc. There's a short clip of goofy smoking that I talked about on the show as well as a nifty little bit with José Oliveira entertaining the Mouseketeers.

Yeah, that's completely Disneystandard crap that they eliminated tons of good laserdisc extras when they moved the film to that known-for-its-barebones format, DVD.

WTF?

Ugh, pure Disney crapgic!
