This isn't a secret dislike of mine so you just haven't been paying attention. But just for clarity (I hate the music as played; visually it is a delight; when my oxycotin addiction has rendered me deaf I'll be able to see it again).

Just bring an iPod, and have your own version of Rockin' Electrical Parade. ;)

As far as I'm concerned you can't run a parade for 30 years under the name "Main Street Electrical Parade" and then suddenly expect people to start calling it something else. It's not gonna happen.


As for not letting go of old names you still use the term "Disneyland Paris" which became obsolete 5 years ago & you are well aware of that. So you really shouldn't point any fingers (but it's nice to know I'm not the only one holding onto old names ;) )

Besides ... lots of people saw the Electrical Parade from the Hub or Small World Mall ... and it was still the Main Street Electrical Parade (albeit that those people saw it either before or after it appeared on Main Street).


In this case, it's the NAME of the parade ... and just because it has moved away from Main Street does not mean it has to have half its name excised.


Coca cola no longer has cocaine in it .... but it would have been stupid to drop a famous name.
