Not sure if this belongs in this thread or the vinyl thread, but one of my prized possessions is the "I Helped Patrick McGoohan Escape" 7" by the Teenage Filmstars. Very swanky little piece of plastic indeed. I think I'll digitize it and post it tonight before the thread gets too stale.

Refrence to semi-obscure british SF drama called "The Prisioner". In short it's about an agent that quits the agency, is then kidnapped and held agnist his will in "The Village". One of the ways they prevent escapes is via a giant bouncing ball (see photo earlier) that flattens anyone trying to run.

Hehehehe. Semi-obscure. I don't know anything about the A-Team but I OWN the complete Prisioner box set.

I saw that episode before I'd ever seen the Prisoner. I'd HEARD of the prisoner and knew enough to know that it was some sort of reference. Of course, once I finally saw the Prisoner, I was dying at just HOW much of a reference that episode was.

It was from the 60s, short lived, and very, very weird.

This is the actual town in Wales where the series was filmed. I just love that it's a real village!
