Splash Mountain is having it's lifts replaced, among other things - I don't know how much work is being done on the AAs.

I was also bummed when I saw that Splash wouldn't be open. Oh, well- at least I won't get soaked again like last time. :rolleyes:

It was so bad, that when we came back to the station, the CMs didn't load our log - there was close to 2 inches of water in the log.

My favorite Splash moment didn't occur until we got off the ride. Heather and I rode it with her dad several years ago. When we went to look at the photo, we noticed her father had his eyes closed and was holding his breath. He told us that he was sure that we were going to go under water.

Of course, we bought the picture.

Too bad I don't have time to come to Universal :(

Hey, Matt- we're thinking about doing a day at Universal- you'll have to let us know your schedule that week!

It's only fair.....3 of my last 4 visits have been when Der Matterhorn has been down....:(
