Well, first of all, it is very similar to the Beat Hotel in many ways. Plus, it's pretty darn cool - and affordable. Plus, it only has 7 rooms, which I would hope we could fill and have the place to ourselves.

The hotel MP linked to has been on my list for a while. It's too expensive for a group thing - plus is is too large for my taste in desert swankings. I like when we have the entire hotel booked for our own purposes. The hotel I mentioned earlier seems to fit the bill, imho.

$400 rooms? No thanks. We can swing two nights at $180, but not any higher. Not while we're paying for two weddings.

I think the first ones are perfectly swanky enough. They definitely remind me of the Beat more, anyway, and I thought that was what this was about!
