Definitely smelled like fire when we woke up this morning, and the sky seemed pretty well obscured with smoke. And hour later, it still smelled like burning, but the sky had mostly cleared up.

The area around the Orange Crush was covered in smoke this morning. I was coming to work through it, and it was like driving into a thick brown fog bank. Nasty.

Well, last I heard on the news it was 80% contained.

Yup, still got smoke today. :(

It died down last night, then started up again today.....

We live in the shadow of the orange crush. As I mentioned before, we woke up to the ash-darkened world that jw describes, but by the time I left for work (~7:30) it was significantly better.

CoasterMatt and I got some great pics from the structure yesterday. I hope he posts the "good one."

Did any of the photos have anything to do with the fire?
