The three-peckered goat might be a result of technologies created by researchers who are not being allowed to research in the human arena and therefore have to find other avenues. I would argue (but only tongue-in-cheek, as this is just too silly to have a serious argument about) that responsible scientists* would prefer to not have to take the risk of working with animals but are being forced to due to political and religious roadblocks in human stem-cell research.



*As opposed to those that might work for Dr. Evil.
