As for Twin Peaks, I'd LOVE the pilot, but don't ever need to own the movie. Man, what a disappointment that was. Maybe I'll hold off and Netflix for now. I just REALLY want to watch Season 2 again.

I'm with you on that. It's hard for me to even watch first season anymore knowing where it all lead (namely nowhere).

Hmmm... I personally love both Fire Walk With Me and the Windom Earle episodes of Twin Peaks.

I don't want to derail the thread with a debate, but I'd be delighted to talk about it on another thread.

Better still, how about a marathon Twin Peaks party at Casa de Mousepod South sometime later this year? We could do it in two weekends...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I liked the second season episodes, but it ends so abruptly I just can't bring myself to invest the time to watch it again knowing it's going nowhere.

FWWM I honestly don't remember very well other than being underwhelmed.

I'm in - we'll have coffee and Cherry Pie to be sure.

I didn't like Twin Peaks when it was TV, but I was young. Maybe I'll add it to the end of my TV queue on Netflix.

While it's been ages since I saw the original - I think it would be enhanced in a social setting.

Yeah, but the movie sucked plain and simple.

I've been on-and-off curious as to whether the series has stood the test of time. It ended up just pissing me off as it went on.

As long as we're making blanket opinion statements without having to back them up, Fire Walk With Me is a great movie. In fact, in my DVD player, it has a helluva lot more replay value than Eraserhead, Dune, or The Elephant Man.

But I also love On The Air.
