I have yet to see it. I doubt it's something I'd see by myself. I really don't like Wizard of Oz (Hides) so I doubt I'd like this much.

You know, I bet someone who is familiar with the storyline but doesn't like the Wizard of Oz would still like this show. It pokes fun at the original movie, pays homage to the original book, and is in it's self a stand alone story (for the most part).

I did fail to mention that the one week part was the second act. All of the "WOW" and eye-poping special effects are done and over by the first act. But then again, the story does have to become more somber and dark as Elphie becomes the Wicked Witch.

Saved a LOT of time in a show of 3 hours with only 2 10-minute intervals !

But do they give you a fast pass for the bathroom? That's what I want to know....

I'm not much of a fan of "current Broadway style" and I really liked Wicked. I also really like Mary Poppins. Just don't start inviting me to any Andrew Lloyd Webber productions. ;)

Sweet Charity, great stuff. Molly Ringwald was just in town starring in it. I didn't go, but I'll rewatch the movie anytime.

I missed "Wicked" when it came through Portland. I was onstage at the time.

Story of my life.
