It's actually kind of funny. I've had three research projects involving McDonald's this semester. Last time I went to their site was a month ago, and it has changed. They had a whole section devoted to Ronald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburgler.... I can't find it anymore.

I know in another thread I was mentioning Extreme Makeover: McDonald's Image Edition. I suppose this was just the next step. It's all fitting with the audience they're trying to "capture."

I'm a little bummed that in a month they'd take Ronald & friends off the site. Admittedly, I was procrastinating on some of my "surface" research, but... the games were kind of interesting.

Mayor McCheese has a petition? Has he been out drunk driving & violating the terms of his probation, too? How very Hollywood of him. *insert straight-faced-I'm so-sick-of-celebs-I-could-luge-but-still-watch-the-E! channel-and-buy-endless-tabloids-so-I-guess-I'm-self-loathing- smiley*

Oh! I just clicked the link! The petition is to bring back the happy little sirloin headed fella. Well, I fully support that! Might I suggest putting Justin Timberlake on the case? He claims he's brought back the sexy (who knew it was even missing? Thank you, Justin, we're indepted) so bringing back the sassy little cheese tongued Mayor should be no prob.

I'd bet a month's worth of McNuggets that Mayor McCheese is better suited to the needs of Los Angeles then our current mayor is, but that's just this Angeleno's opinion. Maybe I should start a petition..

1) She drank & drive, got pulled over & arrested for a DUI.

2) She pleads guilty & has her license suspended.

3) She drives on a suspended license & gets caught.

So a mandatory, minimum 45 day jail sentence is unfair ?!

Although I will say that the McGriddles are sooooooooo yummy!

The hash browns are not bad.

And their coffee is surprisingly not bad

Has is occurred to anyone that maybe he wasn't recalled at all and that maybe someone has eaten Mayor McCheese? I'll be the first on this board to surmise that. I'll take that leap.
