:snap: That's awesome! Kelly and I are cracking up. How did we miss that little play on words, dammit??? :) Kelly just sighed, "I love that show......"

All night we kept saying during the ads (especially the On a Stick ads), "How can that crappy show be on, but AD be in jeopardy?" Last night was SO hilarious! I can't wait to own the DVD's, so I can catch more of the funnies.

Unfortunately, ratings count a heck of a lot more than some stupid Emmys do. I mean, it's only won five awards, come on folks. ;)

Facetiousness aside, I'm rarely emphatic about my viewing habits, save for two shows: Mythbusters and Arrested Development. The great thing about AD is that because they constantly review what happened last time, you can easily pick it up without seeing the last few episodes. Actually, the recap can be so funny on its own that you bust out laughing from just the ludicrousness of the plot.

Everyone should check it out at least once before it gets taken out to pasture. *sniff* *sniff* Set your VCR's, TiVo's and DVR's to Sundays @ 8:30pm on Fox.

Grrrr. We keep missing AD because they keep changning the freaking time slot and our Replay misses it.

Save it!

Will Arnett (Gob) was on Kevin and Bean this morning. He says that the line that the network has been feeding the crew is that the reason they cut 4 episodes is because they don't want to make the show go up against Desparate Housewives in May sweeps. For sweeps, Fox wants to use the coveted post-Simpsons slot to premier American Dad, which would push AD to 9 or 9:30. So Fox told the AD people that they WANT to renew them, but that a poor performance in sweeps would actually hurt their chances, so they'd rather not risk it.

Of course, as Will said many times, who knows if that's the truth or not. But he said that when they were told, it seemed to make sense and there was some logic to it, so it could be true. Let's hope that's the case. He also said that he signed the online petition himself and said something in the comments like, "I really like working on this show, please don't cancel it." lol.

Let's hope that's true. I will lose all faith in mankind if this show is cancelled. (Ok, so that may be a little dramatic, but I'll still be sad.)

Yes, underwhelmed would be the polite way to put it. I'm a Family Guy nut but I considered American Dad to be a waste of a half hour.

No no, Celebrity Boxing is a waste of a half hour. American Dad is just mediocre background noise. ;)

I realized last night that I don't actually have to watch AD to laugh hysterically. I just have to put in my season one dvd and watch the clip at the beginning.

Michael: What have we always said was most important?

George-Michael: Breakfast.

Michael. No. Family. Family is most important.

George-Michael: Oh, right, family. I thought you meant of the things we eat.
