You can not give us information like that and not spill the beans.

Or do I have to bake a certain official Trek Geek in a broiling hot oven?

JW Bear,

I want you to spill the story behind Starfleet boys wearing the Skant while hanging around the Enterprise. Was cross-dressing imagined to be the wave of the future? Was androgency predicted to be ultra-hip by then? What did Ms. Trimble give as the rationale for a Sulu wearing Uhura duds?

Nothing like skant-ily clad men to make me chuckle.

Pretty much the same info that is linked to in Mousepod's post above... TPTB wanted to show a future with more gender equality in dress. She referred to them as "skorts", and said that they were basically just shorts with front and back panels. Oh, and she also said that a bunch of Paramount secretaries were given the task of deciding which of the male extras had the best legs... :D

Oh... And I just found this, if you want your own manskirt. Dontcha love the internet?

Umm CP, how in the world did you find that obscure website?

I was trying to explain the difference between the levels of Disney Geekery to a friend when she responded "Oh, it's like Treckers and Treckies". I think i managed to smile and nod. I think.
