I've had the tofu corn dogs from Trader Joe's and really liked them. I'm not sure if I would have been able to tell the difference, had I not known what they were beforehand.

Hey, you could almost set that to the tune of the Green Acres theme song. (Just take out the 3rd and 4th parenthetical "hotdog!"s)

I KNOW! Darn it!

For those scratching their collective head, I have been meaning to get to the Florida State Fair for fifteen years now, and every year I miss it. It just went by again. Grrr...

Mmmm.... Holiday hotdog.

I make something just like it except it's mustard with the grape jelly and the little smokies or weiners.

We also do little smokies wrapped in a piece of crescent dough around the holidays or at gatherings.

I was planning on figuring how to get you and Matterhorn Fan out to the State Fair. Unfortunately, I ran out of time. I thought it went on longer than it did. If only we could have gone, then we all could have had a corndog. O.K. You would have had to have a soy dog and Matterhorn Fan would have had to have carot deep-fried in a corn batter, but I would have been able to have a corndog, darn it.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhh, now I need to make these. Haven't had them for a long time. We don't sing a song but we might need to start! :) They are soooooooooooooooo good. At first I thought it was weird, really, grape jelly and chili sauce? You must be crazy! But that was after I'd eaten them that I found out what was in 'em.
**hugs**
-kerry, hungry now...

Our family tradition is to put peanut butter on our hotdogs. It's actually quite tasty. I get disappointed when I'm at the ball park and can't get peanut butter. PB, Ketchup, and Relish. YUM!

Of course, we also put PB on our BLTs. You put mayo on one slice, then the lettuce, then the T, then the B, then the PB on the other slice.

Shall I leave off the adding of Ketchup to canned chicken noodle soup, then?
