That's horrible! <<HUGS>>

Wow, that is horrifying and sad. That wasn't mean behaviour, it was evil. Please accept my sincere condolences form one kitty-loving heart to another.

Maybe the local ASPCA or like-minded agency would be interested in pressuring the cops to track down these jerks. There may have been similar incidents in the area.

I'm so sorry.

:( I'm sorry

I'm so sorry, Cirque! :(

When I was around 8 years old, we had a neighbor who was just a mean bastard. He would threaten the kids in the neighborhood if they walked on his lawn, etc. One day we were all outside playing, and our dog Boots was sitting on the sidewalk watching us. This asshole came roaring up the street in his new truck, then deliberately swerved and ran over our dog. When the police went to his house he told them our dog ran out in front of his truck. Since it was just a bunch of kids against an adult the police couldn't do anything, but when the guy's truck was found keyed, tires slashed and with a gas tank full of sugar the police really weren't all that interested in finding out who did it. He moved shortly thereafter.

As stated above, that goes well beyond mean. I'm sorry about your cat.

Our local school had the police come out every one in a while and ticket the speeders who, at least during school hours, were probably mostly parents. But that's fine. Unfortunately, the police presence is not an every day thing.

**hugs** My kitty's black, too, and a good mouser.

Stupid people. I'm sorry.

If he had been my neighbor, he would have found his new truck a smoldering pile of scrap.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Stories like this make me so angry.... I am beside myself right now.

That's horrible! I had to read that twice for it to sink in. Hopefully your day gets better!
