I've posted this in many a Disneyland thread, but I terribly miss the Astronaut-food-style Ham&Cheese sandwiches that used to be sold at Sunkist IPresume. Also the Carnation Ice Cream Sandwiches that were everywhere before Nestle came on the ODV scene. (Hehehe, soon afterwards, Laurie smuggled Carnation Ice Cream Sandwiches into the Park in an insulated bag ... but, alas, they were a melty mess when she attempted to reveal them triumphantly.)

If Susan were posting, she would say that she misses the hand-spun cotton candy that you used to get from the cart (where it was made) in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I miss Ghirardelli Flicks. As I understand, the machine that made them broke in the mid eighties and they were unable to get it fixed so Ghirardelli just stopped production. Some other company bought the name and makes "Flicks" but they just aren't the same.

Completely off topic, NA, but ever since you put the beautiful mountain photos up, I hear your every post in my head being recited by Jack Handy, accompanied by 1000 Strings. (Soft music as a gentle voice intones "I want Flakey Flix.")

Ever had a really good, fatty piece of bbq'd meat, and there's that lovely fatty edge that's cooked to perfection, where it's no longer rubbery, got that right amount of char, is just on that edge of melting and but still holding together, and just tastes soooo delicious? I've only had fois gras once, but that's what it tasted like to me.
