What, you don't want the sword and shield controller extenders?

BarTopDancer 08-02-2007 10:16 AM

I want one. I'll use it if someone buys it for me!

Dude. I've been hacking my way through Zelda for months now, I could sure "use" these :D

Cadaverous Pallor 08-02-2007 03:38 PM

Uh-oh.

Yeah, Guitar Hero III could be the thing that gets some regular use out of the Wii. I am almost to the point of putting the Wii in the closet so that I can plug the PS2 back in for Guitar Hero but the purchase is still too recent for me to admit I wasted the money.

October's almost here...which means Guitar Hero AND Mario Kart. Squeee!!!!!

Hahah the Wii Fit looks ok if it gets you off your arse, but I want the REAL DDR when it comes out. The yoga stuff is great but.... real yoga is better.

And I can't see this being a substitute for 30 minutes of ACTUAL cardio.

But it IS better than absolutely no physical exercise, of course! I might get it, if it is under $50.... but with that accessory (haha "goes with anything from Ikea") who knows how much it'll cost.

I still think DDR would be a better cardio workout than all that. But if you normally wouldn't do push ups unless the Wii was telling you to do so... then I say go for it.

This would actually encourage me to buy a Wii. I think it's great.

And, I'd have to get the sword and shield too. ;)

That's one thing I like about the Wii - it encourages people to get off their butts.

Keep in mind though, they have made many games that dont require you to move from your chair at all.
You have to purchase the RIGHT games.
