I'd like:

Comfort, Alex - The Joy of Sex (never quite got around to getting my own copy)
Consumer Reports - How to Clean Practically Anything (when crowdsourcing means you get 10 different answers, this would be a nice tiebreaker.)

Hey WendyB... Can I read this after you?
Larson, Erik - The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America - trade paperback

wendybeth 09-04-2007 10:02 AM

Sure, Ponine- if someone hasn't already beaten me to it! I'll read it first thing then send it on to you.

Ponine 09-04-2007 10:05 AM

Fair enough.
If you dont get it, I may have to go find it, then mail it on to you.
I had never heard of that book.

wendybeth 09-04-2007 10:08 AM

I've never heard of the book, but Fab had filled me in on the White City, the Fair and some of the stuff that happened there- I think it's a fascinating subject.

Ummm, I just noticed that I didn't read the previous posts well enough and a few of those are already claimed. I'd like the ones that are still available. :)

wendybeth 09-04-2007 11:47 AM

Any books that I get I will be glad to pass on when I've finished them!
