Another Vodka girl here.
I love a raspberry martini made with raspberry absolut and chambord.
Stoli Vanilla and 180
Stoli Vanilla Cosmo
Grey Goose Cosmo
Stoli Vanilla Lemon drop(see a trend? ;))

Once in awhile I'll go with a margarita, I prefer a Cadillac margarita or italian margarita or midori cadillac. Had a pomegranate one that was delish!

If I want something to sip I like Tequlia Rose or Baileys.

Last time I went out though it was SoCo/Cranberry in a nod to Disguy and Sparky.

Vodka Chilton's - vodka, 1/2 a lemon and soda water...salt rim! Yummm!
That's probably my number one drink of choice. If I'm undecided, I'll go with a Cosmo. Or if we're dining ala Mexicana, must have a margarita.

Not much of a beer girl, allthough I do actually like beer. But if you can see thru it, forget it. The darker the better. I even like Stout!

And I'm no stranger to a good shot of Tequila, with a lick of salt and a squeeze of lemon.

I have a number of favored drinks, but if we're going for the standard thing to order, I have a short list.

Once upon a time, I would order Whiskey Sours, because they were the only thing I felt I could guarantee would turn out at least okay... But after a few bad experiences in a row (and a few thirsty moments on the dance floor), I stopped that train, and hopped on the vodka tonic train. I like Grey Goose best, but Belvedere is a good vodka, and Ketel One has been a family favorite. I also like a good martini, but not too dirty. Preferred martini is up with a twist or pearl onions. The Encounter kept insisting on putting olives in my 'tinis with the lemon twist :YUCK:. I'm peculiar about my olives, and I don't care for most kinds that come in a jar in the states... So don't muddy up my perfectly good martini with your dirty olive juice!

If I'm feeling cold, and want something to give me the warm and fuzzies, these days, it's been the Manhattan. Deep down, I've always been a whiskey girl.

If I'm really cold, it's a brandy or Frangelico (if I've got a bit of a sweet tooth).

Out to dinner: Cabernet Sauvignon, or the occasional Sauvignon Blanc.

Whenever I'm out and in the mood for an after dinner drink, I either go for a brandy or, my favorite, a port.

Husband has been waaay into Stone IPA (beer) but any IPA is good for him. He's been home brewing too and made, what I'm told, was a wicked stout that was "thick and chewy". I'm not a beer drinkin' girl so all I know is that it smelled icky like beer does. ;)

For myself - I like girly-fru-fru drinks like mai tai's, pina coladas and that ilk. Gimme a pineapple juice and malibu rum or a malibu and diet coke - which tastes a lot like a cream soda for some reason. A shot of Patron (tequilla) never hurt anyone (too much anyway.)

Used to drink Whiskey sours but got bored with them.

I'm really liking the variety of drinks here. Want to try that Stolli Vanilla Lemon drop for sure!

Ah, yes how foolish of me to leave out my most favorite of all - the evening Cognac. My favorite that I can find at most bars is Hennesy. but there are some pricey smaller brands that are much superior, but I can rarely afford.

If I can find it, a good Calvados (Apple Brandy) is a delight, I'll sometimes choose this instead of a desert if available.

I used to order margaritas (on the rocks please) at bars since they were a difficult drink to do wrong, but I've goten board with that practice. Now I like to look through the bars specialty drink menu where I try to find something that's not disgustingly sweet.
Oh, and outside the cocktail genra, it's sparkling water and coffee. Soda is usually the last beverage selected.

I love grape nehis. Love love love 'em. But lots of places will turn up their noses and inform me that they don't SERVE that kind of drink. (So, you'll serve something called a "fuzzy navel" or "sex on the beach" but "grape nehi" is too cutesy? Whatever.) Long Island will do in a pinch. And we've got some chocolate coconut rum at home that does a happy dance when paired with vanilla coke.

And for parties: I have a great recipe for Watermelon Guava Kamikazes made by the batchful.

Beers: Guinness, a Heffenweizen, Becks, Sapporo, and if they’re not available, Heineken.

I love a tasty Mojitos in the spring and summer. Mint Julips, too. Mmmmm.

The best Scotch I have ever had, and we’re talking nectar harvested from the tit of Mother Nature herself, is Laugavulin.

I like me some beer too, heffeweisen is one of my favorites, or a good dark ale, but I really do stick to my wine mostly. Found a Cab Sav. at Disneyland, from a place called dynamite vineyards, YUMM

When I have a nasty head cold, I like heated B&B brandy. Good stuff.
