There's one that will open in Lakewood in a couple months. I'm looking forward to it because it will be convenient when I need to pick up something quick on the way home from work. I love Trader Joe's but that's always a special trip.

Yup, same deal here. As a lazy person I know I'd use it. Since GD wants to cook, it's not the best choice for him. The lack of veggies is a deal breaker on my end.

Nothing near me. Eagle Rock, Hollywood, and Simi Valley are (going to be) the closest, looks like I won't be dropping into one for some quick groceries anytime soon.

I have the same problem with far too few branches of my bank around. Does the entire world not understand that L.A. has a mountain range going through the middle of it?

Say what you will about BofA, but that is one of the key reasons that I have stuck with them. I don't know if they have the most branches/ATMs (I go into an actual branch MAYBE once per year), but I know where they all are near my work and home.

I guess I'll try the Eagle Rock one - though we do so little food shopping lately, I don't know if it'll be a big deal for us. We have a Gelson's, a TJ's and a Ralph's all within 5 minutes... it's an embarrassment of grocery wealth.

I thought Fresh and Easy is a feminine hygiene product.

I went to the one in Vista over the weekend. I liked it. The prices on their store brand stuff was really reasonable. The Mac & Cheese I tired was really good. The Mango/Lemonade was very tasty. I have a blueberry muffin mix that I have yet to try.

There are none anywhere near me but I'd go there occasionally to get certain things. Some of their marinades, dressings etc looked interesting. It would be like Bristol Farms for me. I go every few months and get things I can't get elsewhere.
