Turkey Point near Miami.

But now I'm seeing conflicting information on whether it was the trigger or just a casualty of whatever really started it all.

I herd a substation went offline for some reason and that triggered the power plant shut down... which then causes a stress on the power grid which then caused the random black outs for different companies to compensate for the lack of power... at least the entire grid didn't go down like what happened in new england a few years ago... maybe it was a friend of at critter from new york who did it?

Yeah, that seems to be the confirmed story now, that a fire at a substation near Turkey Point triggered the nuclear plants to shut down and it went downhill from there. But when the story first broke (that I heard) it was that a fire at the Turkey Point plants shut them down.

Moonliner 02-26-2008 07:28 PM

Yeah that's what I heard too. It just took some time to get the cover-up team in place to erase all the real evidence, make it look like an accidental fire and then get the story out to the media.

It was a giant radioactive mutant turkey on fire near the nucular plant- I seen it on the Youtubes!!
