Thanks for the feedback. I shall pass on Safari for Windows.

I use Safari on a Mac at home and Firefox on a PC at work. One of the things that should consider is that (using my .Mac account) is that I could share a bookmarks library between those two computers if I switched to Safari on my work PC.

But while it is an interesting concept, I realize that I have completely different bookmark needs between home and work.

I haven't tried Safari and don't plan on it. Firefox FTW.

I also just uninstalled Apple Software Update to make that annoying popup that keeps pushing Safari to go away forever.

I use another Mozilla browser (Camino) on Mac, not Safari. For many reasons, not the least of which is that so much technology doesn't work as well in Safari. (Adobe stuff, Flash, shockwave, etc, are all things I've come across at work having problems only on Safari, not other browsers.)

Yeah, that software updater is annoying. It was when all it did was alert me to iTunes updates, but now it's trying to push Safari on me. And selecting the "ignore" option only ignores it that one time, it comes back every time there's a new iTunes update. That's pretty crappy.

Interesting. I've never run into any of those issues with Safari.

How is VBulletin using Camino? I know some of features (primarily WYSIWYG) of that don't work in Safari.

I agree and I am surprised that Apple is doing this as this is not their normal tact. I hold out hope that they will stop this soon.

Yeah, but a big portion of my job is beta-testing across browsers, so I'd see more than most, I imagine.

VBulletin works perfectly with Camino...

Hmmm...

If you have the popup, just select Safari, right click, and select "ignore selected items" - that worked here.
