That would be fun! Then we could follow that up by attending a showing of Spamalot!

Early reviews have been pretty positive - one good thing is that many of the ride's jokes are related to theme park going in general, so even people who aren't fond of/don't know the Simpsons are enjoying it.

Excellent.

I was worried the whole late in the game change to Krustyland would have killed the attraction.

Hey Marla- check out the entrance to the ride

While that was pretty mean since you know I hate clowns, Krusty doesn't bother me. So there. :p

What late in the game change to Krustyland?

The Krusty mouth reminds me of the room where I proposed to Heather - it's the Carousel Room of The House On The Rock in Wisconsin. There's a giant clown mouth door leading out of that room. It's the first door we went through as an engaged couple. Ah, memories.

The queue looks awful. Sorry, but I hate the idea that you can paint a bare warehouse with splashy colors, put up some "artwork" of cartoons and call that a themed environment.

Doesn't bode well to me.

Ummm.... The theme IS a really tacky amusement park- you know, kind of like DCA.

I read online (so you know it's true) that the original plan was to use a theme based on Mr. Burns factory, the fish cannery I think, but Harry Shearer (aka Mr. Burns) refused to lend his voice to the project and so it was changed to Crustyland.

My face would become frozen in the "blank stare" look.
