I too, was hoping to see James gone. He is really bugging me. I liked Angie, she was different and fun to watch.
I thought that Koror should have gotten rid of Caryn over Willard, but I did understand their reasoning. |
Steph and Angie were their two best members at challenges. Getting rid of Angie was stupid. I thought for sure Bobby John would vote James off. Damn. Although I would have been kinda sad to see James go, his babbling is always entertaining.

Once again it is on tonight (Wed) for those of us who are following it. This reminds me to call The Old People, they missed it last week.

Two points from last nights episode:
If you take a bunch of people who have not eaten a solid meal in days and give them a can of Pringles and a sweet Mi-tie, someone is gonna puke. What a stupid reward. Although it will make a good trivia question for a future chip... Which TRIBE puked after eating Pringles? Way to go SoLong tribe. As for the initial vote, you go Girl! First you vote for James in order to keep your street cred since you had an alliance with him, then stab him in the back on the pre-planned vote with BJ. Do you really think that made you look like less of a playa? |
I agree - Steph has flipped on two consecutive tie votes. If her flipping becomes common knowledge - or that she lied to Bobby John about voting for him the previous council - she's done.
I wouldn't write them off yet, though. My prediction - the merge happens soon. Koror starts the political positioning game within themselves, figuring they have the votes to get rid of the last two or three Ulong members whenever they want, so they start picking each other off. Eventually, the remaining Ulong members get in with the weaker group, and make it to the final 5 or 6. When that happens, anything goes. This will play out a lot like it did last season with Chris surviving with the 6 women and winning it all. |
Certianly if the merger happens next episode then the three folks from SoLong will be able to make a deal with the weaker players from Koror. I know I'd be gunning to get rid of Tom before the individual immunities get rolling.
|
Last season was the first time ever that someone from the minority tribe going into the merge survived. And that was because he had lots of time to work his magic (wasn't he one of the guys who lived with the other tribe for a short time?). For Ulong, BEST case is they win immunity next episode and have 3 people. More likely case, they'll be down to 2 people. It's unlikely they'll have the time to work their way into any deals before they're gone, unless Steph wins immunity a couple times (entirely possible 'cause she kicks ass at challenges).
|
Good riddance for James, entertaining as he was. What was that crap about " My god says that it's time for you to go." Anyone else catch that? From that point on, I found him far less entertaining. Not to mention the fact that he did a lot more damage towards that tribe losing immunity challenges than anyone else. First you have the sumo losses, then another that I can't seem to recall right now, then his "I'll make a knot they will never untie" Uh yeah, right. They went through your super duper knot in about 2 minutes.
|
Oh, and the merge won't happen next episode. It'll happen at 10. It always has, it always will.
|
I am sooooo glad James is gone. His comments this week showed him to be rather bigoted. He was so secure that Ib was leaving he played with his skirt for 4 minutes while Koror added to their knots.
On Koror both Caryn and Katie are getting on my nerves...Caryn for her constant whining that Tom is more popular and Katie because she is almost as clueless as Kim, "I thought it would be harder than this." HELLO!!! You think it isn't hard because you haven't done anything!!! |
