Dear Stan4DSteph,

They had a copy of the Saggy Baggy Elephant, which I recognised instantly. Isn't it funny what you can remember over decades of time...

Love and hugs,

The Stoat XXX.

I got the chance to see a bazillion of them in the Archives on the Disney lot... it was sort of soul-satisfying to see that they've kept a copy of each of theirs in one place.

Here's a good blog for Disney related Golden Books

I love Little Golden books, and Richard Scarry is one of the first books I bought for my first nephew :)

Many of the Little Goldens come back into print every now and then. Nostalgia sells them.

We just bought a pack of Disney Little Golden Books for our niece.

Before she was born, my sister had a baby shower. For gifts, she asked everyone bring a copy of their favorite book from their own childhood.

That little girl has a heckuva library.

That is a great idea.

Seriously great idea.

One of my favorite childhood books is The Monster at the End of this Book. I don't think it's a Little Golden Book. I should go dig up my Little Golden Books though.

We had a ton of them for Maddy. I also have my old Richard Scary one's and my Mother Goose.

I remember The Poky Liittle Puppy.
