This is kinda old news... there's already been some "presell" of bits of decor.

Last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Hilton, butt didn't do it becasue the only Star Trek I know is from the original series and figured I wouldn't most of it.

I wanted to see this attraction just to see how they beamed guests from one place to another. At least, that's what I heard happens...

I have no idea how they did it....we only went once, it was a while ago, and it all happened so fast.....but we totally got transported. I almost died, it was so cool.

Hope this finds a home somewhere.

You'll have to go to Vegas before it closes...

It's soooo cool!

I thought about researching it but decided against it.

I was transported for reals. :)

Well I must say, this is VERY distressing. Very distressing indeed! Someone actually reads the Wil Wheaton blog.

blueerica 07-11-2008 05:40 AM

Meh, not religiously, Moonie. But, I have found a lot of interesting tidbits on it, and it keeps me coming back.

Totally and completely for reals!

The following spoiler is not spoiling anything about the effects. I just can't remember something about the Borg experience.

Spoiler:

I know that the original experience is a motion simulator. Is the Borg one as well? I remember being in the room, having the borg show up but I can't remember if there is a motion simulator at the end.
