I don't know about the DNC but Obama's Web site has a downloadable PDF that each contributor has to fill out. Whatever money goes to his campaign has to match the dollar amount noted in the forms.

By the way even though it's before the convention, he's opened up contributions for both the primary and general. Which is a good thing for people who've hit their contribution wall for the primaries.

I disagree.

Wow, so cynical for one so young.

Ok, so we have two votes for watching the convention together on a weekday and one vote for weekend prior. Anyone else?

Just realistic.

I believe it is time for a whole new set of people to govern us. I'm tired of the old guard that won't let go of the steering wheel even when the car is running off the road. Give some new people a turn. Shake things up a little. Might be interesting.

I'd love to go, but unfortunately work nights during the week. The weekend would work for me, but it seems like if one were to have this party, the night of his acceptance speech would be when to do it. If you did that, I might see if I could take the night off. It's not usually a problem.

For now, I'm not voting. You don't have a category that describes the above situation.

Cadaverous Pallor 08-01-2008 09:39 AM

Yeah, I would like to have his speech on at the party. Seeing as how "weeknight" is winning, I'm leaning that way. His acceptance would be the final night, I assume, which is a Thursday...
