As I alluded to on twitter, a good friend of mine had (has) brain cancer and she's come through it ok. For what that's worth.

She had most of the tumor removed via surgery, and was on chemo for many months. It took about a year of her life to recover, but the point is SHE BEAT IT. And so can your wonderful MOM!!
