Hahaha!!! Getting to this side of the park was a challenge- we had to go through the Creek O Doom. Though since it's a little tamer now than it was, the guys call it the Creek of some sadness. It's still got boulders and lots of rocks, but it's got some fill in between them now. Getting a bike through is still somewhat... interesting.

The Blue line passes over several junk yards on the way between Long Beach and LA, perhaps I should take some pics.

let me know if you see any postal jeeps. I'm looking for a steering column, and some 11'' brakes.

I think my mother's old Pontiac is stil wasting away at my Great Aunts house as well.

Back when Google Earth first came out, I set it on a slow crawl east to west across the entire country. You would be amazed at the number of mini junk yards there are in this country. Homes away from the cites with more than just a couple of rusting junkers out back.

While you're at it €, if you spy any parts for a 1923 Avoin Voisin roadster, I'd appreciate it. ;)

Ah, yes, it takes me back to 1965 when I helped my father push his 1956 Chevy into a vacant lot in Queens.

And then we left. I don't remember if we took the subway back or if Mom had followed in the brand new, enormous '65 Impala that she soon grew to hate.
