It doesn't just need replacement attractions, it needs more attractions. It's only half a park.
I would like to pose the question of why they don't build multiple rides in the same structure (ala Toad, Alice & Pan), which seems to me to be the most efficient use of limited space. |
Bleh to the Mickey Wheel. That sun was one of my favorite stylistic elements in the park. :(

Really? I actually like it... reminds me of the opening image of the cartoons.

It reminds you of that because that's exactly what it is. But it doesn't remind me of the seaside boardwalk they want to portray, any more than Maleficent's giant face on Sleeping Beauty Castle would remind me of a fairytale fortress.

I like getting rid of the "stylized" crap on California Screamin' - Mickey's head isn't a clothoid loop.
|
Yeah, it's not that I don't like the image, I just don't like the image in that context. Pru put it well, a jumbled collection of decent to good elements does not equal a Disney-worthy whole.

GD, when the Sun Face comes up on eBay, you should bid on it.
You never know. :D |
I just want the Lusse Auto Scooter that's used for a freakin' retail display in Paradise Pier, to go someplace where it will be appreciated... like my room :)
|
I like the image but I don't think it fits the theme. If the ride was in the middle of the park and it was going to be the icon, then it would look cool. But it doesn't fit in with the Boardwalk theme.
