That's true: there are a lot of bad drummers out there.



Interviewer: "Is Ringo the greatest drummer in the world?"

(And yes, I know that John's criticism of Ringo's playing was always in jest: in a 1980 Playboy interview, he praised his chops).

This reminds me that my habit of reading the newspaper every day without fail began when I used to pore through the newspaper looking for any mention of the Beatles. When they were touring there was something just about every day. I miss that.
