ABC showed nothing from Disneyland this year. You may have explained why.

I'm sick and slightly brian dead...Let me change that to ABC never mentioned Disneyland (or Disney World) this year. I don't know what happened at midnight because I gave up and went to bed about 20 minutes before that.

Duly added to quotes ! Hehehehehehe.

...have you been playing with the anagram server again? :D

Interesting. Sad to hear that if that's what truely happened. This year was a letdown after not ringing in the new year across the globe like previous years. The DJ's were just a bunch of well won't go there and needless to say it didn't stop us from having fun of our own.

We rode i forget how many rides (i surely lost track of the number we were up to like 12 or so when we rode Mansion Holiday ) and that was at like 2:30pm or something like that.

I remember when they'd cut into Disneyland DisneyWorld but haven't been watching the countdown since always at DL for NYE.

We kept having people come up to us asking us about the hats they were giving out. Seemed people were so clueless lol...Next year i am so making my own hat. :)

I left the park at about 8:30. It was much too busy for us.....

madmonkeygirl 01-02-2009 11:28 AM

Busy nah....not as bad as previous NYE's but maybe that was just me. After midnight the park cleared out and was glad we stayed til 2am.

We've done NYE DL once or twice. We knew it was going to be a zoo, so it made it mentally easier to deal with it. TOTALLY fun and the only reason we don't go any more is because of the 'other' NYE tradition we have fallen in love with.
