Could it not also be a fold of the skirt showing through the back?

In looking at it, I believe the base-of-the-palm-tree explanation is correct.

But that is just my opinion: YMMV

I'm not familiar with the specifics of palm root structures, but don't most trees get bigger/wider right as they enter the soil?

After this was posted, the original was fixed. If you look at the one tree that is now not covered up by the exploded view, you will see how it maintains its basic non-expanding (though in this case, curved) shape going into the ground. Also, it is possible that the bulbous bases one sometimes sees on palm trees might have been covered up at the shoot for aesthetic reasons.

But now that I look at the picture a little more, I realize that any tree that is that close to her (as would need to be in that particular location) would be pretty small. So I am really not sure what it is.

I vote that it's the palm tree. I don't think it's *that* close to her, so it could still appear small. There's a little hill of sand and the ocean is quite far in the background, so there's space for it.

I assume she was just ****ting herself. Nothing phallic about it.

Whatever it is it doesn't look like dick to me

Many palm trees are straight. Others have a bit of a curve to 'em. Some palm trees can do nothing but dangle in the breeze.

Trees?

I thought this thread was about Old Booth, the iPhone app I wish was free and for my computer - though I guess I could make these myself, too.
