Sorry, google it.
I knew many people from Vermont (New England is smaller in total than half of California.) They are Vermonters. Not trusting my memory (which, nowadays, is just that) ... I checked it. It's Vermonters. Which is why I thought "Vermonster" was an editorial by you. Love the term. But I bet Vermonters are sick of it. |

Again, I did not make up the term. I am merely echoing what I heard from a native. It's a term he used a lot--never with any malice. These conversations happened over 15 years ago, perhaps the colloquialism has changed since then. I don't know, I really don't care. I think it's a cute term. I did not use it as a pejorative. Get over it.
