For some reason, I am not up for a group thing at Jazz Kitchen at the moment...

I'm not at all sure the Jazz Kitchen is up for US at the moment either.

That said, I likely won't be able to make it to Anaheim in time for dinner anywhere, but I'd love to drop by for dessert and schmoozing as soon as rush hour traffic will allow.

Understood, but would still love to see you guys!

I'm no longer up for a group meal either. Will there be a different opportunity to say Bonjour to France and Farewell to Austrailia?

The AshTrayans leave the next day, so no on them. I'm not sure was Louis' schedule is like.

While I'm not in the mood for another fiasco, I feel it is important to attend. This won't be the last group meal we ever have so we may as well get over ourselves and our issues sooner rather than later.

Though I will be dining privately for my birthday, I suggest meeting at the usual spot on Main street for fireworks at 9pm. I don't know if I will be social but it would be a good opportunity for everyone to gather, watch some (edited) magic in the sky and appreciate that we got to breath alittle that day. Plus it won't cost anything.

I hope to see you there.

Oddly, I would suggest that a group dinner would be a good idea. I think (hope) everyone learned something and I doubt that would happen again any time soon.

I just posted some suggestions for next time on the snafu thread - per my conversation with Alan the JK manager.

or not.

Sorry B, but if there's a dinner, there's no in-Park fireworks. It's just not gonna happen. Or at least, can't be planned for.

The few times it has, it's meant running at full speed thru DTD. Big Pain. Literally and figuratively.

We wanted to watch fireworks in the Park this past weekend. Made Soup Kitchen ressies one hour earlier than the big group, were seated on time. Big Group arrived. Fun ensued. Fireworks from the Park well planned for ... never happened. (But fireworks from the Jazz Kitchen balcony were among the funnest ever!)
