I talked to NA for a few moments afterwords.
|
It wasn't violent here, but we felt it for sure. A good 30-40 seconds of motion (maybe more, I'm knocking about 20 seconds off as my own quivering after the shaking had stopped).
Lisa's checked in, not happy that this happened while Chris is out of town, but otherwise ok. |

Dammit! I want one. Don't selfishly hog all of them.

Apparently, there was a 3.1 aftershock six minutes later.
|
Debra is ok too.

I hate hate HATE living by myself right about now.
I also have no idea why, but this one is freaking me out more than normal. You can all laugh at me but I pulled my car out of the garage and grabbed emergency supplies (I just took apart my "kit" since it was so old so I have nothing 'ready'). |
Felt it just fine in Dana Point. Enough shaking to get us headed for the door. Then again, we are on the second story.
|
omg
Can my heart stop beating so fast now? I'm fine. Stuff got knocked down but everyone is good. Thurston is freaked out a bit but the cats are so over it. Rupert was on my shoulder so I have some nice claw marks in my back. It was NOT rolling here and it lasted quite a while. It was a definite shaker and a noisy one at that. The worst part for me is that Chris is in Chicago. He hasn't gotten my texts as of yet. I would REALLY like to touch base with him. I've been through quite a few and this one was worse for me than Whittier. I am also MUCH closer to the epicenter than that one. At least I wasn't on the toilet for this one. ;) |
Cell service is finally back up.
